Terms of use

Terms of use for DueOrbit.

These terms apply to DueOrbit, provided by Mihail Duchev. Contact mihail.duchev@icloud.com.

Using DueOrbit

DueOrbit helps you record subscriptions and recurring expenses. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter and for checking amounts, dates, and cancellation requirements with the service provider. Use the app lawfully and do not infringe others' rights or interfere with its operation.

DueOrbit does not make payments, connect to your bank, cancel external subscriptions for you, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Marking a record paid, paused, skipped, or canceled changes your tracking records only. Reminders depend on your permissions, device settings, background scheduling, and available data; they are not a guarantee that you will avoid a charge.

Free tracking and Premium

The free tier supports up to 10 subscriptions that have not been marked canceled; paused records count toward this limit. DueOrbit Premium unlocks unlimited subscriptions. Existing records remain accessible if Premium ends, although adding or importing more records may be limited by the free allowance.

Premium is offered through the app's store as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The purchase confirmation shows the current price, currency, billing period, taxes where applicable, and any offer terms. A lifetime purchase is not a recurring subscription and grants the offered Premium functionality for the supported lifetime of the product; it does not promise that every future product or service is included.

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until canceled under your store's rules. Manage or cancel them in your Apple or Google account subscription settings before the next renewal. Deleting DueOrbit, deleting your records, or disconnecting cloud sync does not cancel Premium. A cancellation normally stops future renewals while access continues for the already-paid period, subject to store rules.

Apple or Google handles billing and refund requests under its applicable terms and mandatory consumer law. Use the store's refund process. Restoring purchases requires the store account used to buy them. A purchase in one store does not unlock the other platform. Purchasing lifetime access does not necessarily cancel an existing recurring plan; manage that plan separately to avoid further renewals.

Your records and connected services

You retain your rights in the records you enter. Keep backups of information you need. Optional iCloud, Google Drive, calendar, watch, and export features depend on the corresponding device or provider. Cloud availability and transfer delays can vary. JSON backup files can move subscription records between platforms; there is no automatic Apple-to-Android account sync.

The privacy policy describes information handling, and the deletion page explains how to remove records and cloud copies. DueOrbit is not affiliated with the service providers listed in its catalog. Their names and trademarks identify the services; links do not imply endorsement.

License and availability

Subject to these terms and the applicable store license, you may use the app for its intended purpose on supported devices. The publisher and its licensors retain rights in the app and brand. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses. On Apple platforms, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless the store listing specifies a custom license.

We may update the app, supported operating-system versions, and connected features. Any material changes affecting paid rights will be handled in accordance with applicable store rules and consumer law. Connected third-party services may change or become unavailable.

Responsibility and consumer rights

We take reasonable care in providing DueOrbit, but spending estimates, exchange rates, imported text, reminders, and cloud transfers can contain errors or be delayed. Check important information independently. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits warranties, refunds, remedies, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Mandatory laws and consumer protections applicable to you continue to apply. These terms do not require you to waive access to a court or regulator, agree to mandatory arbitration, or accept a foreign venue contrary to your rights.

Questions and changes

Contact support first if you experience a problem with the app. We update the effective date when these terms change and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required.
