Help with your subscriptions, reminders, purchases, and backups.
Email mihail.duchev@icloud.com. Include your device model, operating system, DueOrbit version, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots can help after you remove private information. Never send passwords, authentication codes, full card numbers, or a complete backup unless you have deliberately removed sensitive records.
Premium and billing
Use Restore Purchases in the Premium screen with the store account you used to buy DueOrbit Premium. On Android, ensure that Google Play is using the purchasing account. Premium purchases are specific to their store.
Manage recurring Premium payments through Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions. Request refunds through Apple or Google Play. A one-time lifetime purchase has no recurring renewal.
Missing reminders
Check the record's next billing date and reminder lead time, then allow notifications for DueOrbit in your device settings. Review Focus/Do Not Disturb and notification-channel settings. On Android, battery restrictions and background scheduling can delay reminders. Open DueOrbit after changing records or device settings. Always confirm important due dates with the service provider.
Cloud sync
On Apple devices, use the same iCloud account, ensure iCloud is available, and open DueOrbit on both devices while connected. If the app reports local recovery storage, keep a JSON backup and contact support before removing the app or its data.
On Android, sign in with the intended Google account in DueOrbit, enable Drive sync in Settings, and complete any Google consent prompt. Use the same account on both phones. Check the sync status while online. Signing out keeps the cloud copy; see Delete data to remove it.
Move or back up records
Use Settings to export a JSON backup, keep it in a place you trust, and import it on the destination device. JSON transfers subscription records between iPhone and Android; it does not transfer purchases or every preference. CSV is useful for reviewing your records in a spreadsheet. Export files may contain private financial notes and labels.
Calendar and watches
Enable calendar access only if you want renewal events in a dedicated calendar. DueOrbit writes events from its records; changes made directly in your calendar do not edit the subscription record. Other calendar apps and cloud accounts may retain their own copies.
The watch apps show records supplied by the matching phone app. Install both apps, pair the devices, and open the phone app after editing a subscription. The watch may show the last received snapshot while disconnected.
Cancel a service listed in DueOrbit
Open that record's cancellation help where available, then complete cancellation with the actual provider. Marking the record canceled in DueOrbit does not stop the provider charging you.
Privacy or deletion requests
Follow the data deletion instructions or email support for help. DueOrbit is provided by Mihail Duchev.
Delete your data
There is no separate DueOrbit account to close. You can remove subscription records, delete cloud copies, and disconnect optional Google access. These actions do not cancel Premium or any service you track.
Before you start
Export a JSON backup only if you want to keep a copy. A backup contains your subscription records; store or delete it deliberately. If you use several devices, let deletion finish syncing before disconnecting them. An offline device or a backup can still contain older records.
Remove subscription records
- 1. Open DueOrbit and go to Settings.
- 2. In the data section, choose Delete all data and confirm deletion of the subscriptions.
- 3. If cloud sync is enabled, stay online and open your other devices so changes can propagate. Confirm that records are gone on each device.
This action removes subscription records. Some preferences and Google account display information can remain. To remove the local installation and its preferences, use your operating system's app storage controls or delete the app. Removing the app alone does not guarantee removal of cloud copies or device backups.
Android: remove the Drive copy and Google access
- 1. Stop using Drive sync in DueOrbit on every device that could upload another copy.
- 2. On a computer, open Google Drive settings using the Google account you connected to DueOrbit.
- 3. Open Manage apps, find DueOrbit, and use Options → Delete hidden app data if that option is available. Confirm the deletion. These records are in app-specific hidden storage, not a normal file in My Drive.
- 4. Open your Google Account connections, select DueOrbit, and remove its access if you no longer want to use Google sign-in or Drive sync.
- 5. Sign out in DueOrbit. Clear its local app storage or remove the app if you also want to remove local preferences and cached account information.
Revoking access and signing out are different from deleting the stored Drive data. Removing access first may prevent the app from deleting that data, so use Drive's own controls to verify removal. Google may retain security or account records under its policies.
Apple: iCloud and device copies
Delete records in DueOrbit while iCloud is available and allow your other Apple devices to sync. Review your Apple Account's iCloud storage controls for DueOrbit and remove its stored data where the system offers that option. If an offline device still has records, delete those records before letting it sync again. Review device backups separately; deleting the app does not delete an existing backup.
If DueOrbit reports recovery storage or you cannot verify that cloud deletion completed, contact support before assuming all copies were erased. We can explain the controls, but cannot sign in to or directly erase your private iCloud container.
Calendars, watches, and exported files
Turn off DueOrbit calendar integration and confirm that its dedicated calendar/events are removed. Delete any independent calendar copies you kept elsewhere. Open your paired watch after the phone updates; remove the watch app if you also want its cached snapshot removed. Delete CSV/JSON exports, files sent to others, and unwanted device backups using the apps or services where they are stored.
Cancel Premium separately
Manage auto-renewing Premium through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting data or disconnecting a Google account does not stop billing. Stores retain transaction records under their own policies.
